Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions- .Net ): Research, architect, design, develop, code, test and support web-based software applications using Microsoft.NET framework and related technologies, such as VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, ADO.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, COM, & related tools. Gather and analyze business and system requirements. Conceptualize and model software architecture using Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques. Create Use Cases, Component Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. Create technical and functional design specifications. Develop and code client and server side components and modules to implement system functionalities. Design and implement databases. Develop database triggers, stored procedures and packages. Implement data migration techniques. Develop middle-tier components and Web Services. Design and implement Graphical User Interface. Create test cases and scenarios and perform unit/integration testing. Plan and implement security features to web applications. Enhance/tune and maintain developed software. Provide technical support and troubleshoot operating problems. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering or a related field and 5 years experience as a Programmer Analyst or Systems Analyst or Software Design and Development. Experience must include software design and development using .NET technologies. Rate of Pay: DOE per year. Work Schedule: 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.  40 hours per week.  Work location: Fairfax, VA and client sites. Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions- Java/J2ee):  Research, architect, design, develop, code, test and support web-based Multi-Tier software applications using Java/J2EE technologies, such as JSP, Struts, WSAD, EJB, Spring, WebLogic, Hibernate, Oracle, J2EE Design Patterns, UML, Unix and related tools. Analyze business and system requirements. Conceptualize and model software architecture using Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques. Create Use Cases, Component Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. Develop detailed Systems Requirements Specifications. Develop and code client and server side components and modules to implement system functionalities. Design and implement databases. Develop middle-tier components and Web Services. Design and implement Graphical User Interface using Struts framework. Create test cases and scenarios and perform unit/integration testing. Configure/deploy applications on web/application servers. Implement software configuration management and version control. Enhance/tune and maintain developed software. Provide technical support and troubleshoot operating problems.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Info Systems or a related field and 5 years experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst or Software Design and Development.
